Douglas, GA – January 13, 2025– Coffee Regional Medical Center (CRMC) is pleased to announce that Drew Anderson has been appointed as the new Director of the CRMC Foundation. Drew brings a wealth of experience in leadership, community development, and non-profit growth, along with a strong commitment to Coffee County and its residents.
Born and raised in Florida, Drew’s journey has taken him through various parts of the southeastern United States. He graduated from Georgia Southern University, where he met his wife, Sarah, who is originally from Douglas. After college, Drew and Sarah lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, for five years while Drew completed his master’s degree. The couple later moved back to South Georgia, where they started their family. Their two sons, Camden (8) and Jaxon (5), were born in Cordele and Americus, respectively. Recently, they relocated to Douglas to be closer to Sarah’s family, and they are excited to raise their children in the community.
Drew holds a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Georgia Southern University, a master’s degree in non-profit leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is currently completing his doctorate in organizational growth & change management from Asbury University. His educational focus on communication, community development, and non-profit leadership has equipped him with tools to support the growth of organizations, like CRMC, in meaningful ways. Additionally, he is certified as a Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM-SCP) and the Cultural Intelligence Center (CQ).
Throughout his career, Drew has gained valuable experience across both for-profit and non-profit sectors. His roles have included leadership positions, consulting for local, national, and international organizations on cultural intelligence and organizational growth, and most recently, working in human resources and leadership development for a nationwide fertility network. With his background in leadership and organizational growth, Drew is eager to contribute to CRMC Foundation’s mission.
“I’m excited to join the CRMC Foundation and to continue building on the incredible support this community has shown for the hospital over the years,” said Drew Anderson. “My personal experiences and professional background have prepared me for this role, and I look forward to engaging with all those in the community who will help invest in the continued growth of the Foundation and CRMC.”
“The CRMC Foundation plays a vital role in enhancing the services and care provided by Coffee Regional Medical Center, and under Drew’s leadership, the foundation is poised for continued growth and success in supporting the hospital’s mission,” said Vicki Lewis, President & CEO of Coffee Regional Medical Center.
