Dr. Thomas Wehmann has joined CRH Surgical Group
Douglas, GA June 16, 2014 - Coffee Regional Medical Center announced the addition of Thomas W. Wehmann, D.O., a General and Peripheral Vascular Surgeon, to the CRMC Medical Staff. He joins Drs. Bagwell, Navarro and Scheirer at CRH Surgical Group located at 100 Doctors Drive, Suite C.
Board Certified in General Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and Wound Care, Dr. Wehmann graduated from the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH and went on to earn a Doctor of Osteopathy from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Athens, OH. He completed a residency in General Surgery at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Cuyahoga Falls, OH and a Peripheral Vascular Surgery residency at Southwest General Hospital in Middleburgh Heights, OH. Dr. Wehmann comes to us from Mayo Clinic Waycross where he served as president of the medical staff.
Dr. Wehmann’s practice focuses on patients with disease that affect the arteries, veins and lymphatic system. He also deals with abdominal contents including stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, gallbladder and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland, as well as hernias, laparoscopic and open procedures, and diseases involving the skin, breast and soft tissue. As a wound care physician, he specializes in the prevention and treatment of chronic, non-healing wounds, including those caused by diabetes, poor circulation, pressure ulcers, burns, trauma, and other injuries and conditions.

Dr. Wehmann’s sons, Adam, Andrew and Ben are graduate students at Ohio State University and University of Akron in Ohio. His step-son, Christopher, will be attending Coffee High School and is volunteering this summer at Coffee Regional. Dr. Wehmann and his wife, Stacey, enjoy hiking, cycling, music and travel.
