CRMC Foundation Hosts Annual Golf Clasic

The CRMC Foundation held its eighth annual Fall Golf Classic on Friday, September 13th.  Nineteen teams competed in the 18-hole 4 man scramble at the Douglas Golf and Country Club.  First Place Gross winners were the Coffee County Gin/R.W. Griffin, Inc./Douglas Peanut team of Ben Evans, Gabe Evans, Griff Evans and Will Brawner.  First Place Net winners were the Quick Change Inc./Fletcher Oil team of B.H. Tanner, Chap Hodge, Chris Hand, and Danny Johnson.  Second Place Gross was the Optima Chemicals team of Gene Williams, Keith Woodward, Doug Cochran and Matthew Stewart. Second Place Net was the Ankle & Foot Associates, LLC team of Greg Kramer, David Murphy, Rob Spinola and Ben Mitchell.

The proceeds from this event will help the CRMC Foundation continue to meet its commitment to the assurance of excellent healthcare for our region. The Foundation’s current project is to bring 3D Mammography technology, Tomosynthesis, to our region.  The 3D equipment is currently the most advanced technology for detecting abnormal breast structures and finding cancers even earlier, resulting in better cure rates.
