Having a baby is one of life’s most meaningful and momentous decisions. It’s a time of excitement, anxiety and joy. There are many important considerations, even before you become pregnant. From choosing a doctor and a hospital to selecting classes that help prepare you and your family for the miracle of childbirth, it’s a time for new beginnings and many new choices.

More than 700 babies are born each year at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Our modern nursery features not only the latest equipment but also the expertise and caring of an exceptional team of physicians and nurses. You’ll find a full range of care related to pregnancy and childbirth. We encourage expectant parents to make informed choices supporting a unique, personal birth experience. Our holistic approach addresses not only the physical needs but also emotional and spiritual considerations of our patients and newborns.   

CRMC offers Prepared Childbirth Classes that cover body changes during pregnancy, the role of your labor partner, the labor process, information on pain relief options, newborn care and breastfeeding. Classes are offered on Monday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Call 912-384-1900, ext. 2380, to schedule your class.
